Mr. Shapiro has more than 30 years of experience in trademark, copyright, and licensing matters. He represents clients in the clearance, registration, and enforcement of trademarks and in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He also represents clients in the registration and enforcement of copyrights and industrial design rights. Mr. Shapiro has negotiated and drafted numerous complex agreements involving the acquisition and licensing of a broad spectrum of technologies and intellectual property rights.
